The crafting is fairly uninspiring and at least didn’t feel super rewarding. setting up combos on 1 key is cool, I hadn’t played a game with that before, though altogether I felt the combat got pretty boring pretty fast.Īfter a week I had already run the 50 dungeons at least 30 times and was finding them incredibly lackluster, so adding harder versions of them wasn’t gonna cut it for me and I knew that the evolutions wouldn’t be enough for me to make me feel that the game was worth maining. The reason I decided to stop playing was because the game felt rather shallow or maybe bland is a better word. Took me about 33 hours I believe to hit 50 because after the first few hours I found the story very boring and just started skipping cutscenes and dialogue. I paid the $100 to get in day 1 of the headstart and I no-lifed the game for the entire weekend to get to 50 on the 3rd day. If you're uncertain, the 1 month trial does in my opinion provide good entertainment value. If I had to give Astellia a grade it would be a solid 7/10.good but not amazing. The rest of the game while okay isn't enough for me to stay interested in the game. I did thoroughly enjoy Astellia in the early levels but I picked this up for the pet system which I didn't end up liking. But your character gets put into a faction and the battlefield lasts a week with you receiving rewards based on your contribution. It's not out in NA, and I haven't gotten to try it yet. in exchange for rewards.Ī big feature of the game is a PvP battlefield called Avalon. There is a exploration/material collecting system in the game where you have to kill specific monsters, find hidden chests, grind monsters for loot, kill zone bosses, etc. In reality I'm sure most MMOs keep logs of your whispers so probably doesn't matter much in the end.just a fyi Just a fyi for people who value their privacy as I know it's important these days. I was afk and didn't even read the whisper but they're monitoring whispers. I had a friend who whispered profanities at me in game as a stupid joke (Yeah he's a idiot) and he received a whisper from the GM warning him not to do it again. It could use some improvements but it works fine There is autopathing in the game for questing and self use. Go here, kill X monsters/Collect X loot, go next area Not a lot of costumes/armour skins in the game Overall, there's plenty of ways to get your character stronger but most involves heavy RNG. Yes you can reset your stat bonuses to try again from the start.so if I used 5 stat points and got a low average roll I can reset my stat points and try again assuming I have enough items to do so. An item is required to use your stat points, higher rarity items will provide a better stat bonus. For example, if I wanted to increase my INT with a stat point, it would roll between 1%-3% (Not actual figures) for the int bonus I'll receive. Stat points in this game are also unique, instead of adding a fixed amount to your character, you roll the % bonus instead. The stats on gems are fixed based on their rarity (I.E a green gem will always have 0.8%HP bonus), you get a 25% chance to upgrade the gem rarity when combining 5 gems of the same rarity. You can further enhance your gear (and pets) with gems. You can get stats like AGI and STR on your staff, which is why some people don't like the RNG, especially when you get a high rarity drop and the stats are all over the place. However, it also offers better rewards, including Zender which is used to purchase rare items.Gear progression is RNG based, some people hate it some people don't. This particular area is both a PvE and PvP environment with a higher challenge. Once a character reaches level 45, they can participate in the Avalon battleground. For instance, Servant Astels cost the lowest AP but have weaker abilities than either the Guardian or Savior Astels. The types of Astels have different AP costs, abilities, and skill sets. Furthermore, there are 3 different categories of Astels: Guardians, Servants, and Saviors. On the other hand, there are 7 Astel classes which mirror the character classes, as well as 2 additional ones: Knight and Muse. There are 5 character classes in Astellia: Archer, Assassin, Mage, Scholar, and Warrior. Acquiring new Astels can be done through loot from dungoens or by purchasing from the game's General Merchant. Using their abilities also cost Astel Points. Astels can be summoned to provide combat benefits such as buffs, combination attacks, tanking, healing, and other effects.Īstels in the game are organized using Decks. Astellia is a fantasy MMORPG where player characters take part in a celestial battle among divine forces.
